Default my99 brake size

i got a my99 turbo 2000 its got 17" alloys on it with the standard 4 pot calipers i think the standard size is 294mm just wondered if you can go any bigger with 17"

Well I'm running Godspeed Brembo calipers with Godspeed 2-part 335mm discs, so I reckon the answer is yes.

Depends on the type of wheel really.
For example
A 17" Rota can handle 316mm Brembo's, but a 17" WRX wheel can't.
However a 328mm Stoptech kit (so a bigger disc then the Brembo) WILL fit under the 17" WRX wheel.

Rougly said, anything up to a 330ish mm diameter will generally fit under a 17 inch wheel, and you'll only run into trouble with a very bulky caliper (like the STI Brembo) or a wheel with a very flat spoke on the inside.

I know someone who couldn't even fit stock 4 pots under ET44 Kahn wheels without a 2mm spacer, but that is a very odd occurance.
