Default Noise when turning right Only

Its a hard noise to describe, its from the rear of the car for sure, but its similair to a whining noise but sounds more like a on off noise,so its not a constant noise, like a whir whir whir whir noise but only turning right,be it a roundabout or right hand junction, never a left turn and sometimes for a minute or 2 after the right turn in a striaght line but alot quieter

its a 95 classic with 4 pots up front, 2 pot conversion at rear with new godspeed discs and mounting brackets and kevlar new pads all round

I did have a simialir noise but alot worse when i used some 2nd hand pads on the rear, fitting new pads got rid of the noise, but a few mths later, its slowly returning it seems.

91k on the car, presume original wheel bearings but surely if it were them,id have noise when driving in a straight line all the time ?

i cant see anything rubbing, wheel on the arch etc,all bushes are good, powerflex rear bushes etc

any thoughts ?

What are the discs like? if they have a lip on it could be somthing like that touching the pads as the car corners, could also be a backplate touching the disc? Have you ever checked the handbrake shoes, they could need cleaning out?

Just my thoughts

There will be some small play in your bearings , and on the backplate is a lip that runs in a groove in the discs , when fitting the kit on it sounds like you have bent the backplate slightly , enough for this lip on the backplate to touch the disc under cornering.
If you take the discs off , you will see where the disc is rubbing on the backplate as it will have rubbed off any paint or rust , just tap the backplate back in where its rubbing

that would help the noise , but its the backplate you fit the caliper onto lol , your thinking of the heatshield , which you can take off

cheers,i havent had time to look yet, but the noise now is getting more frequent, even happening in straight lines but only when the car/brakes are hot and going slow.doesnt sound like a metalic whine tho

i even get the noise when the left wheel goes over one of those mid road spead bumps (ones in the middle of the lane) if i go slowly.

i dont get the noise when braking, but do seem to get it straight after braking,if i dont brake and take the bend/turning its not a bad

i have already removed the heat shields

very hard to describe, but a good description is it sounds like i have a seal in the boot LOL

cheers anyway guys
