Intermittent squeaky front brakes when turning
As title - when I am turning a corner at low speed (say 1mph to 15mph) I have a really really annoying squeak like "eeek eeek eeek ek ek ek eek eeeeek" that only happens some times but more when it's hot weather.
It goes away with a sharp tap on the brakes but comes back again so I find myself using my left foot to swap between the clutch and brake to minimise the noise, the annoyance and the embarrassment.
Anyone else had this before?
My brakes are the gold Brembos on a 53 plate newage STi with OE spec replacement discs and pads - not actually OE.
Would getting grooved discs stop this? Or better pads?
