Question

Following on the thread by Matt Davies

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=89978

I have gold speedlines (prodrive style) and P1 4 pot disks / caliper

Where can i get wheel spacers to give the wheels enough clearance over the calipers - they only need to be 1/8 - 1/4 inch and longer studs??

Cheers peeps

If you only want 3mm or so, you don't need longer studs, you should be able to get a set of shims, (spacers are normally thicker) from a reasonable car bitz type shop.
I paid 3quid each for 3mm.

Hi,

Which Prodrive alloys do you have, Superturismo's (speedline chrono's)? I thought that a 7mm spacer was needed to fit the 4 pots under them?

Ron, what size do these shims go up to, i.e can you get 7mm ones? At that sort of length i would have thought that you would need longer studs? What did you need 3mm ones for?

Tony.
