Default 215/45/R17 to 225/45/R17

I was thinking of getting some spare rims for my 2005 Blobeye and was wondering if 225/45/R17 will be ok when my standard rims are 215/45/R17. Was a bit worried about it rubbing even though it's only 10mm.

Thanks in advance!
Andy

I went from 215/45/17 to 225/45/17 on my Hawkeye WRX and it suffered no problems.

I've since added Eibach springs which have lowered the car between 25-30mm and there is still no rubbing even on full lock.

Also looking at some STi type wheels - 205/40/R17 - If they are for track (so smaller diameter) they should be alright, yeah?

Would 205 make minimal different on grip compared to the 215s?

Cheers
