back to 17s??
hi wondered if any classic owners are running 205-40-17 size tyres as i have been offered a set of parada spec 2 at a good price ,
the question is are they very harsh due to a very shallow sidewall ?
,im back on the original 205-50-16 falken 452 7j rims, but i would prefer to go to 17 inch newage wheels as the car felt much better when i last used them, on the 16s i feel every bump in the road at the moment
my set of 17s are low on tread hence the swap and they are 215-45-17 re050.
ps im still running standard uk struts and springs all round ,
thanks in advance Dave

I've just put 205/40/17 on my car as camskill had some good offers on and I haven't noticed that much of a difference from the 205/50/16 wheels and tyres that I took off of it. Have got to say though that the roads around my area are so fooked I ain't got much to guage it against at the moment fella.
