Default 32mm Discs on Brembos?

Have found some discs at 335mm X 32mm and was wandering if they are possible to use with the gold brembo calipers?

Or likewise what is the biggest size discs which can be used on the brembo caliper?

Newage STI 2003

Thanks

std 326x30 without some real messing around with relocation brackets, etc..............

its a lug mounted caliper so not as easy to use larger diameter discs as with a radial where you simply space differently

What about if i got the excess diameter machined off. would the thickness work ok on NDX or Performance friction std thickness pads?

May have a problem with the 32mm thickness too. My std brembo discs were a very very tight fit with new pads. May have to shave your pads to get it together.

hmmmmm. Food for thought me thinks.

Anyone know the best way of shaving a pad? Take the excess 1mm off the rear steel part or take it off the front face?

im guessing eaither is to be done with a milling machine (which isnt a problem by the way)

would be best to take it off the friction material, milling machine should do it fine, just reduce the life a little, but if you got the discs cheap then might be worth a go.

That's gonna confuse the ****e out of whoever buys the car from you when they can't get new pads to fit. Lol

you cannot fit 335mm discs with the Sti Brembo calipers , so the only way you will fit them if they are exactly the same offset as the standard discs is to machine them down to 326mm , the next problem is the thickness , 32mm thick discs are too thick to fit in the caliper gap and leave enough space between the caliper body and disc , you can combat this by making some machined spacers to fit inbetween the two caliper halves , but before you do all this you need to ask yourself is it worth it ??

In my opinion its a shed load of work for no gain , it's certainly something I wouldn't do.
