Default Anyone make LARGER brembo conversion than 332mm?

Hi, Am upgrading my standard 4 pots on my 06 WRX to 332mm Brembos from an 03 sti. The brembo calipers are much larger than the stock WRX calipers so will make a difference. As I am already running 18" wheels I was wondering if anyone did a larger disc conversion for brembo calipers without going to after market calipers. Say 335mm or something like that with the caliper spacers to suit?

The standard STi discs are 326mm , if you are going larger using the standard calipers , you have to bring the calipers out far enough to be able to fit a bracket in place to fit it back on , which means the calipers have to come out around 23-25mm , which would mean having to fit a disc size around 375mm , problem being is the STi calipers wont take a disc that big as the inside radius is wrong , the discs would hit the top and bottom inside the calipers before the pads sat properly on the discs

You'll also be reducing the amount of pad on the disc if you do that too. Completely understand where your coming from. Thanks for the reply!

This would explain why I could not find any caliper spacer & disc kits available.

Thanks again, Andy

No Problem , the 335mm kit I make for the WRX subaru calipers can be done as the calipers have more room inside , and we also use a larger pad , so it fit in well , but couldn't do it with the STi calipers , wish I could as I'd sell loads of them !

They are huge already, making them thicker would be a nightmare.
