Default Discs

Hello

My STI 03 needs new discs and pads for the front; I think I have decided which pads to go for but undecided on the discs as of yet; the genuine brembo ones on scooby parts are £275, however on Godspeed you can pick a pair up their ones for £122; I'm not trying to cut corners here as its important to have decent brakes but what are the differences between the two? Dont really want to pay the extra cash when the Godspeed ones will probably do the same job.

Nothing wrong with good quality alternatives to the stupidly priced OEM brake discs. I have used non-OEM stuff from Alyn with no problems

Hi
As a member on here we will offer you a better deal than our website , you won't be cutting any corners using my discs , they are the most popular discs on members cars on here , and come with a 12 month guarantee even if you do track days.
We also spray the centres black to help prevent rusting.
We can supply you front discs for £99 a pair , or front and rears for £199 , P&P is £12.50.
Cheers Ian

[Thread Hijack]

Ian, a friend of mine is looking to get new discs and pads at least on the front and after inspection quite possibly the rears too.

Therefore would it be possible to have a price for:

Grooved discs/Centres painted + Kevlar pads all round.
and
Grooved discs/Centres painted + Ferodo DS2500 pads all round
and
Grooved discs/Centres painted + Kevlar pads (fronts only).
and
Grooved discs/Centres painted + Ferodo DS2500 pads (fronts only).

Car is a 98 STI, (GC8E) Cheers.

Or if anyone else wants to jump in with a price, feel free.

Is the Ferrodo DS2500 front pads price on your website different for members on here also?
