Can anyone tell me what options (if any) there are for brake upgrades from the standard 2 pots on a MY97 but keeping the standard wheels. While at the Exmoor meet I noticed a Scoob with larger discs (the caliper seemed to be about 5 thou from the wheel) with standard wheels. I think it might have been the Type R that was there (chu??)

Or should I just be looking at larger rims... comments anyone?

cheers

Jamie...

Larger wheels as well would be good, although it all begins to get a bit expensive
I'd look for some 2nd hand 16" or 17" wheels (hey, what do you know - I've got some 16" with a pretty new set of tyres on it for sale ) and go for the Godspeed 4-pot doobries (308mm - here) which are an unbelievable deal compared to the 'big name' brands & fit under the 16".
Would make a vast difference, I think!
