Hello.

As title also what tyre size and are the wheel nuts the same between classic and newage?

Are you talking about WRX 17s, if so yes and fit them with 205/40s

They are wrx, the arches are rolled due to previous owner running 18" so will 225/45/17 fit?

They probably would, but the rolling radius would be out. 225/45 is Newage STI tyre size though

Your speedo will be out, as you are increasing the rolling radius you'll probably be slightly more accurate given most speedos under-read by about 5-10%; also increased max speed and reduced acceleration by similar percentages to the increase in rolling radius - check out here to assess the difference

I have 215/40/17's on my MY00 and the speedo reads about 6 mph out compared to my satnav (speedo 66, satnav 60)

Should I change to 215/45's or 225/40's

I need to satnav my speedo, I am now running 215/45/17.

No dave, on the scooby & look great, had to get new tyres as they were rubbing the struts on the rear but they transform the look of the car
