Default 215-45-17 but what size in slicks

Hi,

Im after some slick tyres for the track, what size will i need as my road tyres are 215-45-17?

trust me it can be a pain in the bum on classics, i have 225/45/17 that dont fit due to the larger side walls, 215/45/17 also dont fit as they foul my coilovers so you are either gonna need 205/40/17 or get wheels with a 40 offset which is my next choice but ive given up at the min if im honest

Yeah thats why i thought it best tht i ask on hear first, ill give a few tuners a ring and see what they say

There not proper slicks though, look a cheapish road/track tyre when you compare the prices to 888's though.

no they are fia approved moulded slicks for rallying, i dont want to spend 600 on tyres for upto 6 trackdays a year... we only have 1 circuit here in iom and its abrasive
