Opinions on these brake pads.
Hi everyone
I was thinking of getting either the ferodo ds2500 or these tarox ones in link below.
are the tarox pads any good? what are they like for brake dust?
http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1435
Thanks
Mark

I can heartily recommend the DS2500, I've not experienced any fade with them gripping DBA Wiperslot 4000 grooved discs.
I have just ordered and received some NDX Bluestuff which are said to be even better, cheaper too.

seems many reports of fading and other issues are starting to come to light ......be intrigued as to how you find them in comparison to the ds2500

I'm looking forward to trying them. I've researched the (New) NDX Bluestuff pads extensively on line and can't find any evidence that they perform any less well than the DS2500. At least if they are not as effective I know what I'll be going back to.

I'm currently running Tar-ox and am looking for something better as they don't perform as well as Pagid Blue or DS2500. Mind you the Ferrodo's were a dust making machine LOL

EBC Bluestuff NDX all the way.
Isolated reports of fade on the road will be down to pads not being bedded in, the NDX pads are the choice of some competitive Time Attack PRO cars and they wouldn't be using a pad that fades on the road
Fitted to our Porsche 911 Turbo here for both road and track, wouldn't use anything else.
Sensibly priced too:
Aztec Performance Online - EBC Bluestuff NDX - Best Price's Guaranteed + FREE Delivery
If it's only for road use and you're on a budget these are also very popular and work very well:
