Are they alloy bells?

I wish I'd had mine anodised before fitting them.

Mine are the alloy ones from Godspeed.

95turbowagon, yours look good. Why did they cost so much to do?

Is it just me or does painting or powder coating sound a bad idea ???
AFAIK the mating surface between the rim & disk should be free of paint ect, if the paint or powder coat starts to come away its loose wheel time !

High carbon alloy means they are steel, not an aluminium alloy. As such you cannot anodise steel - this process is for aluminium alloys only. There is no carbon in aluminium alloys.

The Moly will be there to increase the strength of the steel. Copper is sometimes added to steels to help in the prevention of rusting.

If you have steel then you can paint or powder coat only.
