Hello guys,

i drive my MY 04 WRX for daily use and often on small rough roads. the brake performance is Ok ( EBC Turbo Groove and Ferrodo DS Performance fitted in front ) but i donīt like the WRX ABS on rough roads because its working to early and makes the brakeway longer. Now i hope to delay this with the sports ABS from a MY 04 STI. Did everyone makes this upgrade any time before? I know the ABS pump was the same, the only diffrent is the ABS Ecu and another G-Sensor on the driveshaft tunnel. I hope you can help me.

I thought the sports abs was only on jdm cars

Pull the fuse out and replace by a switch on a length of 2 core cable...

Then you can switch the ABS off.

Hi dunx,

that will be my last step to switch of the ABS. I thought all newage STI has a sport ABS,the pumpsection will the same between WRX and STI, only the ABS-ecu has diffrent numbers.
