Thumbs down Gutted.

Been waiting since the middle of May for a set of 8 pot ksports from Apex. Told they were coming start/mid-June. None came. Rang and assured they were being checked through customs. Rang again last week, can't deliver, not enough units - I was told porkies from the off. So why take my c£1000 if they did not have the product? Credit card company says it can take up to 6 weeks to refund! Out of pocket 10-12 weeks and no brakes after buying bits to coincide with fitment. Can't stand bad service, really can't stand not getting gear through when promised. So many half-arsed companies around at the moment.

Any company worth it's salt, with a firm order, will ONLY charge to the card when the stuff is ready to send.
Anything else is taking the p*ss

Glad it's not just me then - Apex pop up here quite a lot with their group buys. It was saving me just over £150. I would have much rather have bought the kit from someone else, spent the £150 and had the brakes fitted and bedded in time for some summer fun. Funkin' bar stewards.

I wasn't given the choice - if only. I spoke to Apex and hopefully the refund will be through by the middle of next week. We'll see. They took the money instantly - different story when it comes to getting it back. Moral of the story - don't pay in full for anything until your certain you're getting it. Get them to put down in writing/email an estimated delivery time too. As all my dealings were over the phone there was no paper trail.

i had a set off Apex.

Called up to pay a deposit (as they asked for in thhe group buy), then after a few weeks it was time to pay the rest as they arrived. so i called up, and they actually took the full amount rather than the initial deposit.

So all that extra cash was on my CC for a few weeks. Not the end of the world, but annoying none the less.

Then i managed to snag a brake line on a track day, and wore through it. No worries i thought, as the sole UK importer they would have them in stock.

So i called them up, to find out they dont keep any braided lines in stock and it would have to be a special order with the factory, around 30 days!!

So ended up going to Merlin Motorsport @ Castle Combe and they made me one up there and then (well 2 actually, as a spare!).

So all in all, i havent been overly impressed with thier performance!

there may well of been another brake line that would fit. But i didnt have a range to choose from unfortunately!! haha.

And the original Brembo's were sold long ago along with the standard lines (but 99% sure they had different fittings).

But either way, as the sole UK importer, you would think they might keep spares. Or if they had a few kits on the shelf, offer me one from there and replace that from the factory.
