I just got new tyres fitted they are 215/35/18 and the garage told me that 28 is the right pressure and no higher.

i am running 38f 34r car feels great. this was on the back of throwing 2 front tyres away worn inner and outer edges running at 33f 31r they still had 3-4 mm in the middle. fitted 2 new tyres friday set pressure and thought it would be rough on the bumps, had my brother in the car today and he says it felt smother than his 10 plate bmw with run flats

Simple

on 218/35/18 if you run more than about 35 on fronts then it will be undriveable when its warmed up and in the wet................

38 is a definite no-no....... jeez hope this isnt on 225/40/18. and on 215/35/18 that would be close on undriveable and any pothole would result in the tyre sidewall probably splitting.. centre tyre tread will wear down quickly

28 on that profile is way too low.. in fact anything below 30 is way, way too low and will result in inner tread probably wearing quick......

I run 34 front, 32.5 rear, though anythimng 33-34 front should be ok, and about 1.5-2psi lower on the rear

I dont run much more than this for track use................

Rear should always be slightly lower than the front for optimal handling on a Scoob
