Default On-car brake lathe

Has anybody had their discs machined using these type of machines?
I have PF discs and they have small undulations and a slight shudder (Snetterton), so am thinking of getting this done before fitting my next set (3rd) of PF Z-compound pads.

If you are fitting new pads its only 2 more bolts to whip off the calipers and get em skimmed properly-Prob be cheaper in the long run too.

Are you sure its not just pad deposits which will wear off with normal use. PF discs are pretty classy items, pre heat treated etc and are unlikely to distort easily. For track use PF 01 pads might be a better choice as they have more bite and IMHO keep the discs cleaner.
