Default Best rear brakes for a Classic with Godspeed fronts

I need to sort out all the brakes on my MY00 (it has four-pot fronts).... one of the rear brake pistons is sticking due to corrosion, and I need new front discs/pads - they are all standard at the moment.

So if I fit Godspeed 335s at the front, should I

1) recondition the existing rears with new stainless-steel pistons
or
2) fit a later/better rear caliper

3) do something else.

I'd like to minimise the budget, but the car is a keeper.

THANKS!

Why not source a set of Brembos of an STi up to 2005, plus the discs, and get a kit from Ian to fit them.

Better rear braking, but still matching the fronts, plus the new discs fill the wheels better too

Thanks - sounds good - how do I know exactly which calipers to get? Is there a part number?

Erm... ISTR the brembos' calipers are a tad big and don't fit under many wheels.

Agreed, but if th op is going for the Godspeed 335mm kit, he will either have, or be getting, 17" wheels as a minimum.

Hola from Mexico , managed to drag my *** off the beach to work for 5 lol.

The rear brembo's will fit under just about every 17" wheel , its the fronts that have problems fitting behind wheels because the disc have a small offset .

I'm back off to my sun bed , sun , alcohol and bronzed scantily glad south americans beauties are waiting for me

Adios
