Default Tyre sizes

What tyre sizes would be best for 18" alloys that are 7.5" wide?

I've seen people run 225/40 and 215/35.

I've got an MY99 which will shortly be lowered on coilovers and running the above size wheels.

Cheers

Ben

35 is the correct profile in terms of speedo accuracy. You may get away with 40 depending how much you have lowered it. Bear in mind 35 is a harsh ride on standard sti suspension nevermind coilovers!
