upgrading early Type R rear brakes
Hi All.
I have a early type R, that runs the solid 290mm reardisc with 1pot calipers, and would like to upgrade, as i plan to upgrade the front.
Or is it okay to just have better pads on the setup thatīs allready there?
is it so simple made, that i can use the 2pot calipers and disc from a newagde, as a direct fit, reusing my oe handbrake parts, or is this using the 170mm drum?
I plan to upgrade the front to a K-sport 330mm mm kit , with PF pads,
The car will mostly be used for trackdays, and fun on the Nordsleife, but is not a daily driver, and only used during the summer time, only driven to and from tracks.
Let me know some upgrade options.
Thanks,
Skassa
