Default Advice on inovit redlines not fitting right.

Hi folks, iv got some 18" inovit redlines from a friend that had them on his 2000 classic i tried putting them on my 94 jdm classic today but they dont seem to fit correctly. They seem to sit so the studs are not in the centres on the holes so the wheel nuts wont do up without fouling the sides of the holes if that makes sense.
Im not sure on offsets or anything but the wheels originaly came from a 96 wagon then the 2000 classic so surely they should fit mine shouldn`t they?,
or am i being a numpty and doing something wrong.

i would think they would centre themselves as you tighten them up, unless you have the wrong taper on the wheelnuts for the design of the wheels???

as above, no real reason for the wheels not too fit.

Have you got the spigot rings fitted? that would make the wheel sit off center.
