02 sti alloy weight

hi ive just bought a set of alloys, but require the weight of them,the person i got them from has no access to weight them.

so does anyone know the weight of an 02 sti alloy wheel with tyre on it?

OE 17" gold Rim is 12.5 kg, tyre about 9.0 kg, so about 22 kg per wheel. (hasn't he got any bathroom scales).

Incidentally aftermarket lightweight alloys are about 8.0 kg (eg 18" PFF7), makes a noticeable difference to the feel of a car.

Your right mate.I have 18" Rota Gravel alloys at 6.9kg with Ultralite lightweight wheelnuts and the car feels sharp.

cheers guys, i usually use interparcel who require dimensions,weight b4 a quote but found paisley freight lift them regardless of weight for a set price so happy days,
