Default Differences?

Hello there,

Could anyone tell me the differences between these two type of calipers from alcon prodrive?

They look very similar but they are different? Or not?

Thanks in advance

cheers from Madeira

There are some subtle differences in them , but they were both used in the Prodrive Alcon kit , they are size wise the same

Thanks Ian.
I have the second ones.
I'm trying to rebuild them but it is not easy. They are wrapped in a kind of rubber, it is safe to remove the rubber and then apply paint of high temperature?

Then the screws on the tabs of the pads are full of rust do not know how do I get it off. Anyone have ideas?

And I'm searching for the service seal kit from alcon too, here in my local supplier they don't have.

thanks
Carlos

I can supply you a seal kit , but they are expensive , about £100 which does the 2 calipers.
We have used paint stripper to remove the covering , then bead blast , primed and sprayed them
they can be buggers for getting apart , those ones holding the tabs for the pads can be a pain , I have used a small punch to crack them loose , then undo them.
Cheers Ian
