Default 18" Wheel Fitment Help

Hello all,

I've never quite got to grip with wheel fitments! And despite having read many a guide on owners clubs etc. I just don't get it and tbh, I don't want to get it!

However, I would be VERY grateful if one of you clever people could advise me what wheel fitment to buy for our wagon?

I'm after 18" Rota Grid Drifts. So I know what diameter I'm after! What else do I need to know in order to get the wheels ordered?

Incidentally, I may lower the car slightly but it will only be on springs, not coilovers (budget dictates I'm afraid).

All help gratefully received!

Oh yeah, it's a 2004 Impreza Wagon

Anyone?! Weekend Bump...

And, cause I had the wheels off the car today, and the fronts are right on the limit! So I need to get a wheel/tyre package this week. Bitter sweet... I love the buying but I hate the spending!

7.5j or 8j rim with offset 40-50 and 5x 100 PCD, the offset can be a bit more or less but anywhere around that should be a safe bet.

I'd go for 225/40/18 tyres on your wheels too.

If you can ring where you buy from and talk to them so you know your getting ones that fit, or find a set you like and post up the fitments or link to the wheels on here and people will tell you.

Cheers fella, nice and easy to follow! I'm fairly technically minded but have always struggled with wheel fitment.

I'm looking for these:

Rota Wheels UK | Rare Rims

but can't find et45 anywhere, closest I think is 35. I want to avoid spacers etc as they can have a stressful effect on the car.

Sunday challenge... Who can find that wheel in the right fitment for me?!

Hmm, driftworks seem to do them but I may see if I can get them via potn as they do a finance option!

They won't fit with hub adpators like these - Custom hubcentric wheel spacers any size on eBay (end time 10-Feb-10 21:04:38 GMT)

Chris at CDF can make them so you can put different fitment wheels on your car as the bolt spacing on wheels you want is newage STI. With the et35 they'll be further out from hubs anyway so spacers would make them protrude even more

The other option is change all your hubs.

I have these on mine - Rota Wheels UK | Rare Rims

bottom left on the page is the correct fitment, 5x100 et48.

Driftworks have the correct fitment in the wheels you want, just check the width will fit in your arches, although they should be okay if you stick to 225/40s
