Default tyre repair

I have had one of the emergency foam type of puncture repair kits bought me, how good are they, is it worth leaving the space saver and jack out of the car to save a little weight, as I presume if you have a real bad puncture the AA will come out. I presume the spare and the toolkit weigh quite a lot. Also found out some cars have these kits as standard and have no spare. Anyone taken the risk, or anyone used one of these.

thay are **** dont use them , leave the jack in and if you have a puncture , change it yourself instead of calling out the aa for such a small job.

thats why you have a toolkit and stuff in the boot

most of the time you cant repair a puncture after putting the spray in because it causes i right mess of the inside of the tyre

Use the foam, lose the tyre: even if it COULD have been repaired, if you foam it, you've just destroyed it.
