ET35 will **** up the handling.
Better go with something in the 53-48 ET range, with spokes that do kind of bend outwards.

ET 35 will be further away from the calipers, I ran ET 38 wheels with no problems at all with wheels made mainly for subaru. A ET 35 would stick 3mm further out than ET 38.

HTH

Aaron

PS i'm not saying these will be good, but unless the spokes bend inwards badly they wont catch.

Most aftermarket 18x8's tend to be ET48. Certainly the case with Speedlines, rotas etc Team Dynamics are normally ET45 again perfectly good.

FWIW Prodrive PFF7 ET51 on an ET18x8, so it also depends on the style of the rim to what ET it needs to accommodate to fit as many set ups as possible.

It has little to do with ET, its all about spoke design.

My wheels are 7.5 x 17 ET48, I have about 5mm caliper to spoke clearance.
