That's right, apparently the bulkhead flexes quite a bit under heavy braking. Unfortunately the one I've been sent looks completely different to the one's I've seen before, and no instructions....
Might make sense of it when I look under the bonnet, but it's too fecking cold and wet outside for my liking

Hang on I think I've sussed from the picture on Scoobymania's web site - not the same bracket but I've got the idea I think:
Red bit is the bit that goes along the inside of the strut tower and the bar with bolt goes across the front Still too cold & wet outside though
