Default Brake discs

I might need to change my brake discs soon, but what is best to go for?

I have a UK turbo, probably running between 300-320 bhp, I have four pots on the front with Mintex 1144 pads and braided hoses, which discs are best, I won't be tracking it ?

Is it better to just go grooved? The ones I have now are grooved and drilled, and what size will they be, it all fits under my 17s?

Thanks, David

Your discs are 294mm , I wouldn't fit grooved and drilled discs as drilling a disc makes them weaker around the holes and likely to crack with hard use , I would go for grooved only.
If you are sticking with standard sized discs , I can supply you our grooved discs for £89 a pair plus P&P , all our discs are top quality , we supply nothing from China or asia , as most cheap discs are , have them in stock for next day delivery.

As you have 17" wheels , you could fit our 335mm kit which retains the standard Subaru 4 pot calipers , it also uses a larger than standard size pad which is supplied in the kit , this is the best kit you can use with the subaru 4 pots , nothing else comes close , in the kit are 335mm x 32mm 2 piece grooved discs and alloy bells , steel mounting brackets , alloy spacer kit to widen the calipers , and larger pads , there is a choice of pads , most popular are Ferodo DS2500's , this kit is £575

I have been supplying brakes for about 18 years , specialising in Subaru's for about 13 , if you want any further info please ring me on 01656 723060 or email ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk

Cheers Ian
