On my MY99 STI-V I have the AP 4 Pot setup and Grooved Discs, they seem to be warped, (Track day prob at Brands probably didnt help!!) anyone know of any other manufacturer who can provide decent discs that can take some abuse without warping?
Not planning on doing too many track days just fast road driving, but need decent quality discs but I begrudge paying £500+ For a set of front discs.

TBM, are you sure they're AP Racing discs, with separate alloy bells? If so, see what APR have got to say. They're very hard to warp, even after 10 track days.
Either the discs are faulty, or you've worn them too thin (max wear is 1mm off both faces), or on your track day you didn't let them cool and sat with your foot on the middle pedal.
Hope you get them sorted.
Richard.

I hope you are right about AP changing them as I have warped disc on 6 pot kit, not even done 3000 miles yet! Plus no track days.
Have called them but they have not yet said they will change them for me. Still having said that it was their sales guy so may need to wait until technical guy comes back from being sick to get the go ahead for a swap. The only problem is getting through to AP when you need them.

Hoppy,
They are defo AP Racing Discs, After each session parked the car in the garage at Brands didnt leave the handbrake on or my foot on the pedal, left the car running in neutral

This is the first time that I've heard of AP's warping which is disturbing for a seperate disc/bell set-up. As Hoppy says there must have been a defect of some kind.
I was coming to the conclusion that the disc/bell arrangement was just about the best for heat dispersal and antiwarping characteristics.
Oh well, time to think again...
