Took my my00 to dealer for 37.5 service. Got it back feeling sluggish. Couldnt pin point problem till I washed wheels and found my newly painted rear brake shoe housing had gone a burnt brown. It have done 300 miles and although dealer has agreed to readjust the brakes I am concerned how much wear will have been caused - dealer dismisses any werar as negligable (he would) any comments please.

I'd fight it... although it is easy to say that sat here, faced with a dealer saying that there is nothing wrong etc it is a bit harder to do.

There could no be extra wear to the pads, and disks and I'd try and push for new ones..

Threaten talking to Head office, or in fact speak to them anyway and ask there advice?

Like I said though I would give them reasonable push when talking to them but it is easier to say it sat here than faced with a "I am right" attitudel service manager.

The Pad material could be damaged due to over heating and disk warped in the worse case.
