Help Brakes Creaking when pressed!

Help Brakes Creaking when pressed!
Hi, I did a 135 mile journey to work last night and when I arrived and was parking the car I noticed that the brakes where making a loud creaking noise.
I have a 03 STI with the big brembo's, there's plenty of life left on the brake pads and the noise happens when I push the brake peddle. Only the front drivers side is doing it (as far as I can tell by doing it myself) and the brakes seem to be working fine. It sounds similar to a wire being stretched if that makes sense.
Can anyone help me going of the info I've provided?
