cheap ish brakes
just bought a uk spec w reg impreza turbo 2000 i need to fit new front disks and pads front and rear what is my best option? im not bothered about massive upgrades standard disks will do but i dont know where to get them for the best price. it has 4pots already fitted. cheers guys.

I got a full set of 4 grooved vented disks for 4 pots for 130 quid from ebay.
They will be fine for road, but only lasted a few trackdays before they cracked.
Going cheap for me failed twice. Spend the wedge n get something decent of one of the blokes on here. Ian, Bob'5, ASP etc etc.

Get the cheapest, crappiest discs and pads you can, then when your car is upside down in a field you can at least be happy that you saved a few quid before phoning the insurance company
Seriously - there are two things on a car you should never try and scrimp on - one is tyres, which are the only part of the car that keeps you stuck to the road, and the other is brakes, which are the only thing that stops you smashing into things.
