Can anyone tell me the link to, or time and date of the topic discussing the relationship between contact patch and tyre pressure that was on this forum probably about a year ago.
It was a very interesting discussion that started as an innocent comment that a wider tyre would give a bigger contact area and lead on to a very complete explanation (by Simon De Banque) of why this is in fact wrong!

I want to at least not make an **** of myself in a similar discussion.
