drilled and grooved
sorry if this has been covered before but what way do drilled and grooved discs go?? reasons for asking,i've seen them both way (if you know what i mean) a pic or two would be great,got front and backs comming and want them the right way,also does it matter???

Dont buy drilled, they have a tendancy to crack under hard use, the drilling fractures the metal around it and excessive heat makes that bigger causing fractures to the outer edges of the discs, this in turn causes bits to break off, not a good thing
Proper drilled discs (as seen on the likes of Porsches) are not drilled but cast into the disc so they dont have that problem, the problem is that its expensive so.... best stick to grooved if i were you

Got drilled and grooved on mine, second set, no probs at all so far
As for which way, OK, look at the disc, imagine which way it would turn if the car was going forwards, (clockwise on the o/s, anticlockwise on the n/s), and the vanes should point BACKWARDS from that.

just so you get it it's the vains as when you look down on the disc not the face of the disc as pictured think your getting confused what vains are so you need to take the wheel off and look down on the disc at the vains its the inbetween parts of the face of the disc
