Thumbs down Anyone got Hi Spec brakes??

Hey guys...

When i bought my UK Classic it came with a Monster 4 Pot Hi Spec Kit on it.Now the brakes have never felt right to me

I've been told that large brake kits are a little less reactive than smaller untis but when pressing on they fade in less time and also brake a lot harder when stamped on.

As far as i can see the pads look ok and there is no lip on the disc but when i first use the pedal they hardly seem to work until i really press the pedal, and when i was driving quickly i had to brake really hard and the left brake never felt like it worked the caliper kind of 'scrabbled' at the disc and then it vibrated harshly like the ABS had cut in.

Any ideas?? I tried to jack it up and take apart the set up but never had the tools to do it

try bleeding them mate, could just be air thats being compressed when you first press the pedal until you really press hard.
