OK Im gonna order a new MY02 WRX next month and am deciding whether to go for the OZ P1 wheels in anthracite in either 17 or 18 inch size (car is silver). From what I can make out if you go with 17's you keep the Pirellis off the standard WRX rims (as there is no wheel and tyre price listed) which means you dont need to fork out for new tyres which you do with the 18s (if buying the 18's I would buy tyres seperately as the Pirellis get a lot of stick on scoobynet).
When it comes to replacing worn tyres, how much more would you expect to pay for 18's over 17's (assuming same tyre brand & model for simplicity) as this may have a bearing on my choice?
Thanks,
Simon.

Here is an example for you , from www.micheldever.co.uk
GoodYear F1's 215/45ZR17 = approx 91 quid per corner (fitted & balanced)
GoodYear F1's 225/40ZR18 = approx 110 quid per corner (fitted & balanced)
This was recent prices, as I had my 18s done two weeks ago, and MATTeL is having his 17s done tomorrow.
Hope that helps,
Alex
