Question 18" on classic STI

Hi i'd like to swap my 16" speedline wheels for 18" ultralite gt-p, as i'm running 205/50/16 to keep the same overall diameter i've to fit 215/35/18.
would this mount change a lot the behavior of the car? i've STI GENOME dampers/black STI springs.
thanks all

Most people find that 215/35/18 are quite harsh and they may tramline more. I fitted 215/45/18, yes 45 profile and whilst they are larger than standard (which is what I wanted to increase the gearing) they handle really well. Next time I'll be looking for a set of 215/40/18 as a compromise.

Most folk who have driven classics for some time, including Prodrive, will advise against going over 17's for a classic

That's if you are interested in best ride/handling and not just looks

18's are fine and on 215/35/18 as you mention.. I have had for 9 years

215/45/18 would be a safety issue..... bizarre profile on Scoob wheels

225/40/18 is closer....

They tramline a little but at 215 diameter they are harldy 'wide'!!

The only other alternative to 215 is 225/18/35
