Filing Down Brake Pads
How often do you come across pads that need this?
My parents have a 56 plate Honda Civic that I was fitting new pads to yesterday. They were genuine Honda pads but were about 3mm too big! Had to file a good bit off them to get them in and moving freely.

Don't worry, hammer was out!! Decided not to try and be too persuasive with it though.
