hi
can anyone tell me if the 17" standard alloys from an 03 sti will fit my classic?

Yes, it'll have the same PCD and should clear your brakes if you've standard or even newage Brembo's

Blobeye and newer have a 5 x 114 and the classic has a 5 x 100 PCD so they won't fit as far as I'm aware

^ MY03 STi 5x100 MY05+ 5x114.3.

Only thing to consider is if they come with tyres they will be 225/45/17 and may rub. Tyre size on a classic for these wheels (as are mine) 215/40/17. Go for a nice chunky tyre like a Vredestein Sessanta and they will offer good rim protection on the 7.5" rim.
