Default STI 8 squealing rear DS2500 pads

Hi,

I have fitted DS2500 rear pads to my sti8 approx. 600 miles ago.

They squeal alot at slow speeds, anyone else have this problem?

The squeal is due to the compound and the disk material. If you get them hot they will stop the noise, but it will always come back.

The DS3000 were even worse for me on noise.

Lads you should not have to live with noisy brakes have the pads you are using got anti squeal shims?
If not get some made up they are very cheap and should do the trick. Allways remember use plenty of copper grease.
