Default What's the ACCEPTED tyre size for 18's on a classic?

Mine is running on 17's with 215/40 17" Toyo's, but I might treat myself to some 18's for summer

If I do..........what size tyres would I need to keep my rolling diameter something like, and to avoid rubbing?

TIA

Errrrrrrrrrrrr, rolling diameter, dude? If I'm ALREADY on 215/40 17's, then 215/45 18's are going to be WAY out

225/35/18 will fit without issue if you have the correct ET53 on the alloys.

No R888's only Hankook at Camskill

HANKOOK TYRES / TRACKDAY TRACK DAY / HANKOOK RS2 Z 212 HANKOOK R S2 Z212 HANKOOK RS 2 - 215/35R18 84Y XL :: £95.00 :: Track Day Tyres - Trackday Tyres - Motorsport Tyres :: R18" - 215/35/18, 215/35 R18 ::

Dunx

P.S. Offset isn't everything, are you trying a say that a 9" rim with a 53mm ET will fit ?

Another one for 215/35/18, also worth remembering that different tyre's have different shoulders.

It isn't everything but it's a big thing on a classic as even 215 will rub with the wrong ET. I don't remember trying to saying anything about 9" but if you want to try I'm sure they'll rub evenly inside and out if you use an ET53.

So just to clarify 7.5" x 18 P1-WRC alloys with ET53 will fit 225/35/18 Falken 452 tyres on a classic without issue.

I've got the 18" P1-WRC wheels on my P1 with 225/35/18 Bridgestone SO3's that fit fine.

No issues at all.

correct offset as set by Prodrive of ET53.

It's the offset of the wheel. 53mm from the centre line of the wheel to the mounting face.

I've got 225/40/18's on Prodrive alloys, the rear strut spring caps needed fettling a little bit to get clearance.
