Default AP racing 6-pot conversion disc sizes

Im looking to upgrade the discs and calipers on my MY04 UK STI and have noticed the two different disc sizes available (330mm and 352mm) and was wondering if im going to notice any real difference? I ask because the larger diameter disc requires larger wheels and the expense included with them....

any help?

These kits come with different calipers. The best caliper is the 5570 (race derived) one that comes with the 330mm kit and still allows the use of 17" wheels (even standard WRX ones). The 355mm kit is more of a road designed caliper and is actually a fair bit cheaper than the smaller kit. I use the 330mm kit on my 03STi with RS29 pads and these behave very well on trackdays and I don't feel the need for any more stop.

Ian, have I put my foot in it?

I'll backtrack and just say the 5570 kit is more expensive for reasons I don't understand, but it is handy to be able to use my spare set of OE 17" wheels on occasion.

Cheers, Diccy.

CP5570 + 330mm discs are great both on and off track.

No need to move to a bigger size for performance reasons.

AP are always happy to chat on the phone about their caliper options if you want to discuss your options.
