Thumbs up What do you think of my new wheels?

Some of you know that i was sold the wrong wheels for my car but i have now found the perfect set

Team Dynamics Pro Race 3 White - 17" Inc. Tyres

Sadly they are not out for about 2 weeks so i am having to 'borrow' the wrong size wheels for a bit longer.

What do you think? I think they are the best thing since sliced bread

All i have to do now is keep away from the kerbs while i have the wrong wheels on

TBH, they look almost identical to the old classic 16" wheels

Except they were silver.

Might have been.............they looked v. similar to those, though, and I thought they were so ordinary, they lasted a very short time

I think i am paying £460 without tyres and locking wheel nuts. 4 weeks ago i was sold the set i have now but they are too big so i will only have to pay the difference. They are not for sale for about 10 days so i am waiting impatiently for them to arrive.

They do look similar to the Compo's.

I'm quite partial to white wheels on sonic blue scoobs.

I nearly bought the pro-race 2 for mine but they only came in 7.5" width for 18's. The pro-race alloys are a nice series of wheels though

White wheels are the new gold though when it comes to scoobys

Have you checked out the Rota GTR if you want a 5-spoke

I am going to order some Green Stuff brake pads as the ones i have are shedding so much dust i cant keep up with it. Dont know if they will make a lot of difference though

Don't buy mintex extreme as they are awful for dust, apparently the red stuff aren't too bad. I just get stuck in with the poorboys and it just wipes off come cleaning time

I changed my discs and pads but as i had to buy wheels i got cheap pads. I drove about 80 miles today after washing them and they were gray when i got back. Because these have less spokes than my other wheels the dust shows more through the gaps. When i get my set on order i will polish them so the dust cant stick. Are the red better than the green pads then?

I can't personally vouch for the EBC pads, but the red stuff are designed for more spirited driving and I've read on here that they produce less dust. I asked the question because I have white wheels and didn't get a great response. I'll ask around again if I get to the point where I actually need them because the set up I've got works quite well, even if it is a pain to keep clean

That said, I'm hoping not to need pads again for my 4-pots and the next pads I get will be with my brake conversion
