What about 215 40ZR 17's anyone, ive always ran them at 30 ps on all 4 corners but get a slight vibration over 90 mph, its not the tracking or balance as i had it done this morning and it still remains?

i think that tyres should be checked cold, it makes a lot of sence when u think about it. there are varying degrees of warm
warm
slightly warmer
toastie
each temp will give a different reading
so does anyone know what they should be when cold?

All tyre pressures should be taken from cold.
As the tyre heats up there is more pressure in there, which will give you false readings, never assume a warm tyre pressure is correct, can make a few lbs difference to the pressure with every few degrees of heat.

Just me in car, goin on a fast drive tomorrow (windy roads in Wales) roads damp, what pressures will give the best handling?
I thought this would be a simple question

Sorry Steve
what don't you understand
28 FRONT
33 REAR
AS RECOMENDED BY TSL MOTORSPORT
IF YOU WANT TO MEASURE WHEN COLD THEN FINE BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE PRESSURES MENTIONED ABOVE ARE WRONG

Steve
I spent the whole day at TSL having my eibachs and geometry done and tested
Lynsey(spelling) then supplied me a complete report together with the recomended tyre pressures that are recomended
as I said I tend to measure mine when warm so perhaps I am wrong in that respect
And that is my final word on the subject
