Thumbs up

Just tidying up my machine and found this link, which might be of interest/help to some of you.

There are three that are of interest to us.
They are:

Subaru Impreza 16" CP5200-1035 & 1035G8 4 Piston

Subaru Impreza 17" CP5200-1023 & 1023G8 4 Piston

Subaru Impreza 17" CP5570-1000 & 1000G8 6 Piston

NOTE: clicking on the links will attempt to download a PDF file, so be warned.

So, what do you do with them? well, download them, print them out (make sure they ARE to scale, very important) then stick them to some card, cut them out, then use them to see if the AP 4-pot or 6-pot calipers will fit under your wheels.

Very cool. Saves you the hassle of trying to find someone with an AP kit and persuading them to let you test fit one of your wheels on their car.

Of course they can also depress you, as they did me, when I found that the AP 4-pot kit would not fit under my 16 inch wheels But then I got 17 inche wheels.

so, might be of use to you.

That link is VERY usefull.

But the problem is that when buying wheels you don't know how the profile of their inside is.

Wheel manufaturers should have the same thing. But do they bother at all ??

No..

Wheel manufacterers don't have them (in general)...

I asked several people for Speedline GT-ONE 7,5x18 ET48 (The ScoobySport wheel MY01), but nobody has them.

SpeedlineCorse - NOT, Speedline in Holland - No, ScoobySport Benelux also no...

Now I received this meassurements from Mov'it and drawed it myself, cutted it out like AP and send it to dealer.... Quite a long way and the dealer even didn't understand that he must check it in the wheel, was looking for a WRX.....

Not easy, but with WRX MY01 or even bigger wheels with less offset you allready knew AP fits. AP has this indead nice done on the site and I also noticed that to Guido Frensemeyer from Movit.

evoscooby. are you telling me there are caliper profiles on the movit website? if so then where? i've never seen them. Would love to get hold of the caliper profile for the 4m5 and 4m6 calipers, this would make testing for caliper clearance on wheels much easier.
maybe I'll email guido

Thanks for the email!

blimey! I knew the calipers and disc were big, but wow! they are huge.

anyone know what the dimensions of the STi 7 calipers and discs are? if so then I can more or less work out if STi 7 alloys would clear the movits.

Cool

I think you can fit a bus in there and Moveits shouldn't be a problem.

Markus if you'll buy the Movits and plan to sell your old STI7 Brembos (suppose they fit under my OZ Super T' 17'' ET48) I am interested.
