Default Brake callipers changing colour.

Anyone heard of Brembo gold callipers changing colour?

After the extensive Knockhill track time on Saturday the colour of my front callipers have changed with heat damage.

Yep couldn't belevie it - thought someone had changed my callipers at first!

Running Performance Friction Z pads & discs.

Changed from the gold /red sticker combo to bronze / black sticker.

Very bizarre.

Anyone else heard of this.

Ali used to get this on the Red Evo Calipers, but not heard about the Gold Bembos discolouring. You must have been really going for it. Must be the PF Discs building up too much heat through the calipers.

Only one thing for it, AP Calipers

Hi
Its the laquer that burns and discolours , nothing to worry about as in the workings of them , just looks crap , when we spray calipers , we use a paint that doesn't need laquering so dont have this problem.
We could strip and respray your calipers any colour you want for £100 for future reference .
Cheers Ian
