Default Apexi induction kit,, how do i clean it

Evening everyone i am new to scoobynet so please bear with me.

I am in need of advice on how to clean a apexi dual funnel air cleaner.. \

I know to stay clear of oil based cleaner, but what else can i use. brake cleaner has been suggested but seems a poor way to do it.

Any help is appreciated
