Dear all
After reading various threads re what tyre is best I need to know what youve been paying

im after 215/40 ZR 17's

Have always had Bridgestone SO2's but the bank balance cant really afford them right now and i've heard good things about F1's and Toyo Proxes or if u know where i can get some so2's cheaper than £120 each

can you guys let me know what youve been paying for the above and where, dont mind going for a blast to get them either.

So any help on price or why in your opinion i should choose a certain brand will be greatly appreciated as always.

Cheers

Dave

SO2's at £110.00 each or F1's at £72.00 each. Prices include fitting, valves, balancing and vat.
You'll have to come to Protyre at Bristol, though!
Still, it's easy to find (just off the M32) and the natives are pretty friendly....
E-mail me if I can help.

Funkii,

A different way could be this. Toyo UK Website - Go to the Dealer finder and do a search on your postcode. Then ring up the the tyre dealers and see who will give you a good price.

You could ask the cheaper ones for the prices for F1's etc.

Hope that helps

Question

I am getting to the stage where my P Zeros are about to go. I'm looking for tyres with the most grip (for road use), a good combination of wet and dry. I'm not worried about price or wear. Can any1 point me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Juice.

PS: Forgot to say 16"

Juice, give Mike Stokes a ring and get a set of Toyo Proxes T1s's you'll not regret it, they're a damn good tyre, I've had two sets through mike stokes, you're better off going to the ashley road branch, you'll get a better deal.
