Default Rota Centre Caps

After I gave my wheels a good clean last week I noticed that the centre caps don't seem to go all the way in once the wheels are fitted to the car.

The wheels are Rota GTRs (See my scoob) and when the wheels are off the centre caps clip in with a really positive feel. Once they are bolted up to the car the lugs press against the spigot rings and seem to sit a little proud.

Has anyone else had this problem, and have they ever lost a centre cap. Any ideas on how to cure it.

BTW, any ever seen any carbon centre caps for ROTA wheels

Yes they don't clip in as tidy (at the front ?)when fitted. I have 2 carbon caps which I never used as they came with my spare rims. I will post a picture of the caps you can still buy them.

To be honest I think you will have the same problem... I might have a solution with a variation centre cap but I have a feeling it might have the same problem as well so just want to measure them on monday on monday before I can confirm anything

I'm over in the US at the moment so there's no rush. I'm just not confident that the current ones are secure, and they are so easy to pull off I half expect them to get nicked by some thieving chav.
